There are times that you are just surfing the net and you find the rarest of gems along the way. Welcome To Hereafter a webcomic by Bry Kotyk is one of those gems. The artists takes us on a wild ride to see just what the other side of life could and can be like and the crazy characters that could be there. It is a humor that we don’t get to see about religion and I am not just talking about only Christianity. Nothing is sacrosanct with this author, he looks at all the religions and have so far poked fun at Christ, God, Buddha and a slew of the Greek and Norse gods. He even has Thor and Hermes shacking up and playing house, if you know what I mean. Its all suggestive and not something that is not safe for work type thing but you do get the point. This comic is full of things that are going to make you laugh and want to talk about with others that have either seen the comic or those that you show the comic to.

This is one whacky webcomic by Nick Wright that everyone is sure to enjoy, just make sure that your old enough to actually read it. There are 2 main Main characters, Rose Crowley and Nate Ashborne. Nate is just back from an extended stay in another state and trying to get his life back together. With all the ups and downs that he has had he finds himself right back where he started, living off his friends and working at the local Food Baron. It is the one store that he hope not to even see again but has no choice but to get a job there and start cleaning up and working on all the baggage that he thought he left way behind him. Little does he know that there is no way in Food Baron hell that it is ever going to stay that way. The women and his roommates are never going to let him get off that easy, they are going to make sure to enjoy the comedy of his life.

Review: Sandra and Woo

This entry was posted in Books & Literature, Online Comics by Snowfoxx on

Fun and sassy is just the beginning of the words you can use to describe the webcomic, Sandra and Woo. The story is about a 12 year old girl and her pet raccoon, but so many other secondary characters come in and out of their lives. Many of these characters should have webcomics of their own, but I’m glad they don’t, because they are so much a part of of Sandra and Woo’s lives. Woo can talk to Sandra and to other animals, which makes life very interesting for Woo’s forest friends. Sandra has a little boyfriend, Cloud, named for the main protagonist of the 90s video game, Final Fantasy VII. Her best friend, Larissa, is the school tart, but has her best friend’s interests at heart, and knows that Cloud is off limits. Sandra’s dad has been raising his sweet girl on his own, and couldn’t be more proud of her. Cloud’s family has a secret life as vigilantes in their city, and his mother is an ex-rebel from Burma, and her kids are very much like her in just about every way. Cloud’s father just stays out of the way of his wife’s nighttime crimefighting. Could any man keep a rebel fighter from doing what she thinks is right?
