Fun Factor:★★★★☆

Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo is more fun than Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire was. This game is based on the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. In this game, you are fighting for the Earth Federation. So you’re on the good side. Your enemy is the Principality of Zeon. Zeon is like Shinra. Shinra wants control and power. So, that’s what Zeon wants.

This game takes place in the future. The year in this game is U.C. 0079. This game is similar to Star Wars, but using big robots. You will have so much fun with this game. The graphics looks pretty good for a PS2 game. This graphics are way better than Crossfire ever had. Crossfire have really bad graphics. The graphics do look old and like they are from the Nintendo 64, but it is still a good game.

This game came around 2000. So, it is going to look like a Nintendo 64 game. The gameplay runs like Armored Core 2. I have played that game before, and it was pretty good. This game is a third person shooter. The old school third person shooter, not the new third person shooter. You get some pretty good weapons in this game. They are Beam Rifle, Hyper Bazooka, Hyper Hammer, and a laser sword. Beam Rifle is good weapon to use for the final mission. If you use different weapon than the Beam Rifle, then you’re screwed. The Beam Rifle is the most powerful weapon of this game. Hyper Bazooka is pretty good, too, but the Beam Rifle is better. Hyper Bazooka does got a lot of ammo, and it takes down the flying fighters. Hyper Hammer is like Mj√∂lnir, but the problem is you have to get close to use it on the enemy. The missions are sometimes hard, and sometimes you will die more than in other missions.

The animation seen is pretty good. It character looks old school, but the landscape looks way better. The anime seen in this game looks way better than the original anime from 1979. The sound is better than the anime. The controls are very confusing and a pain. Not as much of a pain as the Tomb Raider game on PSone as is. The controls are kind a similar to the XBOX 360 controls. If you are Gundam fan, you will really like this one better than Crossfire. If you do like PS2 games better than PS3 games, you like this too.
