Summer is very much here, and it is time for backyard barbecues, beach parties, and music festivals, and you are going to get thirsty. You will want to cool off, but you don’t want to lose that buzz, so here is a light spirit that will keep any member of the Seven Nations happy, as well as most anyone else with Celtic blood in their veins. Here is the recipe for a gallon of the libation: 2 cups sugar 2/3 cup lemon juice (natural strength) 1 1/2 cup Scotch or Irish Whiskey Water to fill In your jug or pitcher, add sugar, juice, then Whiskey.
