Redline – A story about the most popular racing event in the galaxy, the Redline, and the various racers who compete in it.

If you are up for a fun, fast movie with great music and non-stop action, find a way to get to some kind of online service to get this 2009 anime film about one of the biggest, dangerous, and most illegal races in the galaxy. The Redline is not too far off, but to make it there, many racers must qualify in other prelim races, and we start this story as Sweet JP is racing in the Yellowline. Sweet JP (Patrick Seitz) looks like he came right out of the 1950s with a black greaser duck tail pompadour haircut that goes on for days, jeans and leather jacket. He is going against some big competition, but the strongest rival is……

Power Rangers (2017) It’s morphin time!

It’s been a long time since we first saw Saban’s Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers came on the small screen on many Fox stations across North America. Kids could not get enough of the colour-coded teens infused with alien superpowers and their transforming vehicles. It was vary similar to old school anime shows like Voltron and Dynaman, but for kids that were not used to the concept, it was new, intriguing and fun. Come twenty-four years later, things are a bit different, and we have new cast of Rangers, but the differences are vast, and very welcome. New movie technology has made superpowers and vehicular transformation on the big screen much more realistic in scope, but now we have the time……

Despicable Me 2: When the world needed a hero, they called a villain.

This was one of the cutest films to come out from Illumination Studios, and they are not stopping any time soon. The sequel to Despicable Me, this takes us on a new chapter in Gru’s (Steve Carell) unusual life, and involves his extended family of adopted daughters, Margo (Miranda Cosgrove),Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Elsie Fisher), a multitude of minions, and even Dr. Nefario (Russell Brand). Gru is now an ex-villain, and is settling down to a life of being a superdad, throwing fairytale birthday parties, and creating a line of jams and jellies with the help of his minions and the doctor. Things are not quite as exciting as they once were, but he kind of likes the way……

Attack on Titan (2013-TV) Season 1

The great thing about anime is that it is a limitless genre, and just about anything can happen in it. Anywhere, any time, past, future, parallel worlds, contemporary pop culture, you name it. Oddly, considering the title of this series, you would expect a tale about the Greek gods and their enemies and ancestors, but this has nothing to do with ancient history. Attack on Titan is set in a dystopian future about 2000 years from now. The technology has devolved back to steampunk tech, and things look pretty much like they did in the mid 19th century. Right there the similarities stop. This world is nothing like ours is, because there is a new, bold enemy against humanity, and……

Tomorrowland (2015) Screenshots

This is one of the finer movies that I have seen to depict both dystopia and utopia all in the same film. You have both young and old, representing both and you see what happens when you feed the wrong wolf. That is something from the movie. It is making the point that is you feed the negative, all you will get is the negative but if you have a positive outlook then anything is possible, allowing you to see your dreams come true. I found that the acting was both fun and frivolous and just a joy to watch. It has a high caliber cast and just with most Disney films a rollercoaster of highs and lows that will……
