Zombiland - Nut Up Or Shut UpJust got done watching a film that I had been putting off watching for quite some time. The name of the film is Zombieland featuring the talents of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin.

When first I started watching the film one of the first scenes was nothing but blood all over the place. I was thinking “Great, another blood bath” but I kept watching. It wasn’t long before I was drawn into the film and the struggle of 4 people, possibly the last 4 people in the US. The story really gets going when Columbas, played by Eisenberg meets Tallahassee played by Harrelson and they team up trying to head east. Along the way they stop at a shopping center so that Tallahassee can try and find some Twinkies. The character really has a thing for them and it might just be because of his loosing his son to the zombie infestation that is covering the globe. Zombies are everywhere and just one bite will turn you into one.

Anyway, in the store they run into a few zombies and then a normal woman comes out from the back storage area. She says they need to come quick as there is something wrong. What is really wrong is that she and her sister are playing on their sympathies to steal their truck and weapons. At least they are not all bad, they don’t kill the guys, they just take off with their stuff. This of course has Tallahassee all pissed off and Columbus just shaking his head in disbelief of what just happened. It goes like this back and forth until they all finally start to get along but now they are now heading west instead of east to try and get to Pacific Playland, an amusement park in California.

They have many trials along the way and they start to really start to form a family but it is not until the amusement park is all lit up and zombies are everywhere that they really become a family. A family that can trust one another and be there for each other no matter what.

All in all this film was a pleasant surprise and I thought the characters were actually believable, except for the gal from 406. If you want to know who that is and what happens with her you will just have to go and see the film for yourself. There is a lot of blood in the film so be prepared for that. You know there is going to be with zombies all over the place. So get some popcorn, turn down the lights and get ready to have some fun in Zombieland.
