Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness does have some pretty good graphics, but gameplay and controls are more of a pain than the PSone versions of Tomb Raider games. I first time played this game, I was about throw it out to the door. I played this twice so far. The first time I played it was the PlayStation 2 and the second time I played it was on the PC. The PC version I played was a demo and the controls were the worst. The PlayStation 2 version was bad but, not nearly as bad as the PC version. I played the PC version about 30 minutes, and on the PlayStation 2, I played it half the way. The reason the gameplay sucks, is because when I trying to get a key, the game thinks I didn’t get it far enough to get the key. When I’m doing a run and jump, I always fall off. The game thinks that I didn’t get there far enough. I said, ” Man! That’s it. I’m done!”
This game have some bad major bug problems. Whenever I am playing the game, it is hard to pick up an item from the table, and the enemies are stupid. The enemies always run to the wall instead of trying to kill me. The enemies are too easy to kill. The camera sucks as well. Every time I turn the camera around, the camera will stuck to the wall. This game does crash often. So every time the game crashes, I have to reset the game, and still do it. the This game is not as bad as Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire. You can’t get much worse than that.
The graphics are better than before. Lara is hotter now than before, and there is great level design. The storyline pretty good. This game all about finding the killer who killed her friend and mentor Werner Von Cory. This one is set in Paris. This game is about how Lara can adventure in the catacombs in Paris and other tombs in this game. This game sucks, so if I was you, do not play this game. If you liked Tomb Raider games before and you play this one, you are part of the problem. I use to have this game on the PlayStation 2 and it is a good thing I traded it a Gamestop. I’m a big Tomb Raider fan, but this one sucks.
