Having read the book that the movie is based on I can tell you that the film does follow the plot of the book but some things are different, some more glaring then others. Those that have read the book will see right off two things that just do not follow the book at all and the only thing I can think is that they had to change them for time constraints. The first is that the cat, Buttercup, is the wrong color and the other is that the mocking jay broach is found in the black market. The pin was supposed to be give to Katniss by the mayors daughter. Just got done watching a film that I had been putting off watching for quite some time. The name of the film is Zombieland featuring the talents of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin.
When first I started watching the film one of the first scenes was nothing but blood all over the place. I was thinking “Great, another blood bath” but I kept watching. It wasn’t long before I was drawn into the film and the struggle of 4 people, possibly the last 4 people in the US. The story really gets going when Columbas, played by Eisenberg meets Tallahassee played by Harrelson and they team up trying to head east. Along the way they stop at a shopping center so that Tallahassee can try and find some Twinkies. The character really has a thing for them and it might just be because of his loosing his son to the zombie infestation that is covering the globe. Zombies are everywhere and just one bite will turn you into one. Read more...(452 words, 1 image, estimated 1:48 mins reading time)
