Dead or Alive 4 for the XBOX 360 was a great game when it was first out. You got more time to play the game instead buying DLC’s, but in this game there are no DLC’s at all. You have to work hard to unlock some of the characters, all of the outfits, and getting the endings.

This game was one best fighting of the games of all time and it was more challenging than other fighting games out there. I had a hard time unlocking characters and there outfits, and which I am still trying to do. I have already unlocked the characters, but trying to get their outfits. This game has 6 modes. Story Mode, Versus, Team Battle, Time Attack, Survival, and Online. I never played online on this and I don’t think it is available any more.

Banished is a builder survival game that keeps you entertained for hours on end in much the way that the original SimCity did when it was first released. The game was developed by newcomer software company Shining Rock Software. The quality of the game is rather excellent give that they entire install package is under 100k. The clarity of the graphics and smoothness of gameplay just draws you in in ways that you wouldn’t think possible. And yet with it deceptively simple game play it can be hard as well. Truly a wonderful and addictive game to play.

The Hunger Games

At first I was apprehensive in reading this book considering all the hype that went along with it and the hype that went along with the Twilight series. I expected it to be another sappy stupid romance about a girl who hates herself and the world. You know how the teens are right now these days, no disrespect to those teens that do have a sense of self and self respect. Suzanne Collins is a genius in the way that she weave the take that she has to tell and does it in such a way that you can not help but be drawn into it and can not get out of the raging torrent until you have finished the book entirely. It is one of those books that will stick with you and have you looking forward to actually reading the next one. Many series writers are more dry in their approach, seem more cautious in their writing but not Collins. She pours herself into the story and you know that she feels each and every one of her characters.
