Fun Factor:★★★★★
Overall:★★★★½

I never played the first Soul Calibur game until I went to my friend’s house. This game is only for the Dreamcast. I had played the Dreamcast before, and I play it only once. I played one game on Dreamcast and it was DOA2. It was okay. One day I went to my friend’s house and I saw him playing this game. Me and my friend played this all day long, and we just could not stop playing this game.

I wish Namco would put this game the PlayStation 2, as well. This game never came out for the PlayStation 2. I wish it would. This game take place about 3 years later after Soul Blade. Soul Blade was a okay game, but this game blows Soul Blade away. Soul Calibur III is still better than this one. There are 20 characters in this game. 10 of characters came from Soul Blade and 10 of characters came from this game. The reason I like this is the animation artwork, graphics, and the gameplay. The animation looks like the anime series Orphen.

Soul Calibur V

Soul-Calibur-V-PS3-Game-CoverSoul Calibur V is 17 years later after Soul Calibur IV. Soul Calibur V has really good graphics and really good gameplay. This game is about a young man name Patroklos finding his older sister named Pyrrha, and joining together, they will destroy the evil sword named Soul Edge. Patroklos and Pyrrha are the children of Sophitia. Sophitia is from the last four Soul Calibur games. You don’t see her in this game.

The characters in this game are mostly new, but some of the old characters from Soul Calibur IV are in this game, too. There a guest character in this game and the guest character is named Ezio. Ezio is in Assassin’s Creed II. He really a good character to play. In Soul Calibur IV, you have the Star Wars characters but, Ezio is better than Darth Vader, because Ezio will stab Darth Vader in the back. I don’t know about that guy from Star Wars: Force Unleashed. He will be good fighting the Templars and destroying Nightmare or the people that want Soul Edge that badly.

Soul Calibur II

Soul Calibur II take place from 4 years after from first Soul Calibur game and 7 years after Soul Blade. I have not play first Soul Calibur game but I want to. There some guest characters in this game, but each one is on a different controls. In the Play Station 2 version, you have Haihachi. He is in the Tekken series. I have played Tekken, but I’m not a big fan of it. The Nintendo GameCube version have Link from The Legend of Zelda series. The Xbox version have Spawn and you have see him in his comic books. I wish they had put the Master Chief from the Xbox version instead of Spawn because the Master Chief is in Halo, and Halo is on Xbox.

Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate

Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate is a fighting game. If you know the show Xena Warrior Princess, you and your friends will love this game. I watched Xena when I was a kid, and around 2007 my friend gave me his N64 and some games with it. My friend and I played Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate. In this game there only 11 characters in this game and 4 activities you can do. The 4 activities in this game are Quest, VS., Roster, and Practice. Quest is for one player. You are fighting 11 characters to be champion of the talisman of fate. VS mode you need two players for that one. Me and my friend always played that one a lot.
I always use the same character and he always played different characters. Roster is a team battle. You do not have to have a extra player with you. You can play that one by yourself if you want but it gets boring if you play by yourself. Practice mode, if it is first time playing this game and if you need to learn the controls in this game. The characters in this game are Xena, Caesar, Hope, Ephiny, Ares, Velassa, Callisto, Joxer, Lao Ma, Autolycus, and last person you have fight in the last match is Despair. Despair is hard to beat. When my friend and I went to VS mode, I always use Hope. Hope reminds me of Sailor Venus. I always kept using her but, when my friend used Despair I was doomed. The gameplay in this looks Soul Calibur, but there are no rings outs in this game. You can jump on walls in this game but no rings outs. The graphics in this are crappy but it’s a old game. This game is only for the Nintendo 64 not on PlayStation. If it was PlayStation the controls would be much harder. So, If you are a Xena fan and you watched Xena in the past, Play Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate.

Soul Blade

Soul Blade is the beginning of the Soul Calibur series. In Japan, it is called Soul Edge. In this game, you cannot make your characters in this. You can play only nine different characters in this game. The character are Sophitia, Taki, Cervantes, Mitsurugi, Voldo, Seong Mi-na, Rock, Hwang, Li Long, and Siegfried. Siegfried will become a nightmare in later on in the game. Li Long is an old master, Sophitia is on a mission from the gods, and you seen the other characters in the other Soul Calibur games.
