A note about the tapioca starch: Many times you just will not find this readily available on your grocery store shelves. This is not a problem if you have one of those nice new personal coffee grinders. If you don’t have one they are really cheap to get. Anyway, to make tapioca starch you would first buy some minute tapioca, the stuff you get to make tapioca pudding. Take and add about a quarter cup and grind it in the coffee grinder on the fine setting about 3 times. That would be about 60 seconds. You will now have a fine powder that you can use in place of regular starch. Semi Sweet Pickle by Cleave Ingredient List
3 baby cucumbers 6 in. long
1 cup rice vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar (6 for a really sweet treat)
1 tbsp. pickling spice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic
