Unlike many other match 3 puzzle games out there, Season Match: Curse of the Witch Crow was a bit more refreshing in its gameplay mechanics. Instead of switching icons around to match up with a line of two or more similar ones like in Asami‚Äôs Sushi Shop, you merely have to find at least three icons that are the same in one area and click on them, and they just fall from the puzzle, automatically breaking any barriers like stone walls, fences and ice shields nearby. The premise of the story is that the Witch Crow is holding all the seasons’ month brothers and sisters hostage by using enchantments. Not having played the original game or its first sequel, I was a bit in the dark about what was going on here, so I might just have to backtrack and give them a try.

This insanely silly yet entertaining and fun game will keep you busy for hours on end. Imagine if you will that the fairy godmother that we always knew decided to setup a potions empire, what do you think she would be like? Well in Fairy Godmother Tycoon she is down on her luck because everyone is muscling in on her territory and she wants them out so that she can have a monopoly on all the potions business in all the villages of the magical lands. She doesn’t really care how it is done just as long as it is done. She needs a successor just like you to see that it is done right and done now. From village to village you are tested as you try to reach the goals that the Godmother has set for you. Sometimes it is just getting the shop to a certain level of business and other times it is to crush the competition and force them out of business so that yours is the only potions shop in town. It is a cut throat magical land you are dealing with and she knows it and gives you some help along the way.

Sniglet of the Day : May 25

Sniglet Of The Day A.D.O.S. – n. a not-so-serious disorder that affects MMORPG players. Attention Deficit… Ooh! Shiny! Mostly happens when questers are taken off their game path by a tracking device that indicates where they can find crafting materials close by, thus distracting them from their orginal goal.

A.D.O.S. is pretty common among gaming communities, especially in ones where materials can be found to make items to enhance the protections of other players, such as armours, weapons, scrolls and potions that can boost healing and power, or other items that can give anyone some kind of advantage over the enemies. Those players who really enjoy the crafting aspects of some MMOs can be affected by A.D.O.S at any time, and tend to run solo, or with others that have A.D.O.S, so they truly understand what their party member is going through. A.D.O.S in gaming is not to be confused with the A.D.O.S that affects dogs. That was Attention Deficit… Oh! Squirrel! which was depicted a few years ago in the movie, Up!.
