Why did they even bother to make this film. It was choppy with the way that the scenes were put together and some of the actors in the film just didn’t seem to fit at all. I know it is a vampire film with blood and guts and even a nude and a sex scene but this looked like they took a bad Sarah Connor Chronicles script and just put vampires in it, making it even worse. Sure there are worse ways to spend 92 minutes but I think I would have rather been at the dentist getting a tooth pulled then watching this piece of film. Just got done watching The Yellow Submarine by the Beatles. It is one heck of a trip and actually quite well done when you consider that there was no computer graphics or animation when the movie was made. I remember watching the film when I was a child on a little black and white TV in the early 70’s or late 60’s (yes I am that old) and seeing it in color for the first time was a treat.
All the songs have been remastered with DTS and full surround sound and it was great, but don’t let the chair or sofa eat you. This film is trippy and you can definitely see where all the early children’s television got their ideas. If the room is warm and you don’t have enough water you will fall a sleep with all those swirling colors and mood music going on.
