Sniglet Of The DayThe Lags n. A symptom of a type of frustration that can happen whenever work or play involves dealing with the Internet. This is often caused by having a weak connection to the Net. It is more likely to happen in rural areas, since service providers tend to not take the needs of rural customers seriously, even though there might be that farmer’s daughter who is a geeky gamer, and spends her weekends playing World or Warcaft or Guild Wars. It can also happen at work when a credit/debit card line is being very slow due to overuse, especially at a business’ peak transaction time, such as a fast food or pizza place on a Friday night. This can also occur on various order-taking apparatus due to the same thing.

Stronghold Kingdoms Online

Stronghold-Kingdoms-OnlineThe online version of the popular 2d/3d isometric castle games imagined by Firefly Studios. It is a turn based and yet a RTS at the same time. It is one of the better castle defense and attack games that is out there with both free and paid memberships to keep you building castles until the wee hours of the night or morning.

This game is truly addictive as you start from nothing more than a Village Idiot to that of a king of an entire region. You start your Stronghold life with nothing more than a small keep which you then have to manage. You have to see to the needs of your subjects but also the safety of them as well. You do this by placing buildings in your village that will help to maintain it as well as provide resources to both build with and trade with. As you build up your resources you are able to build your castle which defends your village. Much time is going to be spent building and maintaining that thing, so make sure you always have resources on hand, especially have a bandit or player attack.

Review: Vindictus

Overall:★★★½☆

There is a new MMO that has recently come out of beta that is pretty good and fun to play. The name of the game is Vindictus published by Nexon. Right now there are servers in Korea and North America with European servers to be added by the end of the year. If you want to check out the game for yourself you can head over to http://vindictus.nexon.net/ and download it for free.

The premise of the game is that you are a new recruit for the Crimson Blades and you have just made a name for yourself by saving the life of the local oracle from a rampaging giant spider. That is where your story starts. While the game is story driven it is mostly a hack and slash type of RGPMMO and is definitely geared toward the younger audiences. Why do I say it that way? When you are customizing your character you get to control just how big your female characters breasts are going to be. That right there says it all on what crowd they are going for.
