Transformers Dark Side Of The Moon

While having the most drama and action of the series this was actually the hardest one to watch. Everything became a distraction and while I love they used Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel Prime the amount of catch phases and one liners injected in the film did nothing to add to it. Hasbro really dropped the ball allowing this script to go to film, it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t anywhere near good either. It was like they were trying to shove the kitchen sink in on every single scene. I know it is about the world being over run by mechanical aliens that want to colonize our world but give me a break.

From Walt Disney animators we have an exciting tale about a young man on a quest to prove that his grandfather, the one who raised him after his parents death, is not some crazy explorer that didn’t know what he was talking about. You know how it is, unless you have something that is more then real to shove in a persons face and up everyone’s collectiveness they are not going to believe that it even happened. That is the kind of men he is working for at a museum in Washington D.C. shortly after the turn of the 20th century. An age of discovery when everyone was looking for something to make a name for themselves. The one thing that the Thatch men have been looking for is the Shepherd’s Journal.

Spyglass Entertainment has one hell of a hit on their hands with J.J. Abrams reboot of Star Trek. It just doesn’t get better then this with high action, more action then we have ever seen in any of the Star Trek Films. This will be the one Trek film that you will be watching again and again for years to come. We still have all our favorite characters, they are just all brand new and slightly different and different in all the best ways. This one film will keep the franchise going for years to come and we are all waiting to see what they come up with next.

Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (1991)

This time the Enterprise is not the only ship in the quadrant, it is the only ship that has James T. Kirk. The Klingons are in trouble and they need to make peace with the Federation to be able to survive as a people, the survival of its race. It is up to the crew of the Enterprise to escort the Klingon delegation to earth for peace talks but something totally unexpected happens along the way. In a nut shell that is the plot of about the first 20 minutes of the film. That is one hell of a long lead in to get the film going but it is worth the wait. And the waiting part isn’t that bad as well, though parts are annoying.

Star Trek III The Search For Spock (1984)

The third film in the Star Trek movies stars William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley and directed by Leonard Nimoy. This film truly makes a franchise of the Trek films in a way that kept the movies going for years by picking up from the cliffhanger of the previous film. Making the films in this way the fans are happy and willing to keep coming back for more to see what is going to happen to what they feel is their crew, their ship and their show.

Spock and McCoy are lost and is is up to the crew of the enterprise to find them both and bring them back safely. While this sounds easy enough for Kirk and crew things are complicated this time around. In Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan we saw Spock die a painful death repairing the Enterprise. We all felt that he was gone forever but even viewing original footage you see Spock tell McCoy to remember. At the time we didn’t know what he was doing and really didn’t know till this film. Spock was transferring his essence into a vessel to be held till it could be retrieved.
