Did you ever wonder what it would be like to run a sub shop back in the 18th century? If you are clever enough, you can hitch a ride on a TARDIS, and have the Doctor drop you off in 1700s London, or you could just have a try by playing Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe. So, we are in the 1700s, and the Earl of Sandwich has just invented this great dish that is simple and perfect for eating on the run. His niece, Elise, wants to take his invention to the masses and opens a sandwich shop in London. The place is a little rough from the start, so she gets some financial backing from a nobleman who has been wanting to marry her for some time. He thinks she is doomed to fail. If she does fail, she has to marry him. Poor girl, too bad that sneakers haven’t been invented yet, because with all the running around she will be doing, she will need them. Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe is a time management game, and these customers keep Elise on the run. The sandwiches are pretty basic, ham, turkey, roast beef, on hot, hearth-baked bread with cheeses, veggies, and condiments, plus she serves up drinks from oaken barrels, like milk and juice. Later on down the line, she adds a toaster, and some scurvy dogs love the idea of gooey melted cheese on those sandwiches.
