Sahara : A Dirk Pitt Adventure

Sahara-A-Dirk-Pitt-AdventureThis wonderfully detailed and imaginative book is full of imagery and passion that pulls you in and just wont let you go till the end. That is the way with most of Clive Cussler’s books. He is a true master when it comes to writing derivative fiction. He adds just enough fact to make the whole story believable as f it is happening right now. It is truly a shame that the film that was made from this book did not keep that in mind, it is no wonder that Clive Cussler was so livid when the movie came out. If a studio did that to a story of mine I would be mad as well.

Here we have another hidden object mystery with a dark theme, but this one is set in Italy. Sacra Terra: Angelic Night Collector’s Edition involves a character in an old asylum…. hmm, getting to be a common theme in these types of games. We see this person being driven down the halls by some medical “professional” on a gurney, then strapped to a table. These opening animations really need some more polish, as they make the beginnings of the game look just plastic, because the art graphics in the rest of the game itself, though dark, are stunning.

Whats Up With All The Recalls

What is it now a days. Every time you turn on the news you are seeing a story about the latest recall notice. I don’t understand why there are so many recalls. Don’t the companies believe in product safety and testing or quality control? Or is the cost of a good Q&A department too much to bare for all the greedy uncaring corporations out there. It just isn’t right or fair to the consumer for things to keep going this way.
