Your-Highness-2011-Movie-PosterThis has got to be the silliest fantasy movie ever, but that’s not so bad. The focus is not on the eldest prince of the land of someplace we never learn the name of, but on the younger prince. While Fabious (James Falco) is the dashing, courageous quester, his brother, Thadeous (Danny McBride) is happier being the arrogant, lazy courtier that prefers to hang out with the trolls by the river and smoke their herbal mixes. His constant companion is Courtney (Rasmus Hardiker) a servant that has become his best friend and confidante. This life of ease for Thadeous is about to end.

Fabious goes on yet another quest, and slays this week’s monster, and rescues a fair damsel from the keep of an evil wizard. Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) has been kept prisoner by Leezar (Justin Theroux) for a very specific purpose, but when Fabious finds her, he is instantly smitten and brings her home to meet his father, King Tallious (Charles Dance), and announces to the court he and Belladonna are to be married. They are immediately preparing for a grand wedding the next day. The happy day is soon interrupted by Leezar as he comes to claim Belladonna by magickal means. Meanwhile, out on the river, Thadeous has skipped the wedding and is getting high with his troll friends.

Leave it to Alawar to come up with a silly time management adventure game featuring a previous incarnation of Dudley Do-right as the protagonist. While the opening animations has that retro, Don Bluth animated 90s movie kind of look and feel, when we got into the main part of the game, it seemed like the same old kind of time management builder. Clear the wood, grab the food, get some tools, get some treasure, etc.

Ever play one of those games that you end up having to start over and over again, not because you just love it, but because you want to know what happens next. Plumeboom: The First Chapter is one of those games. It is not easy, and it is tricky, but you find you just can’t get enough of this popper game as you help Plumebloom destroy vials of tasty mind contol potions to prevent the birds of Orniland from becoming mind slaves to two evil wizard birds, Crowbeak and Cornix. Every new level brings new surprises and challenges, and you will find that Orniland is a pretty big place with many potions to be destroyed. Fans of the Bookworm games will be pleased to hear the voice behind Lex in Bookworm Adventures is back as Plumebloom, which makes this game even more fun when you hear that familiar voice.
