In ancient times past most tribes and men were hunter gatherers and had not yet started to cultivate the land. The biggest animal that they hunted was that of the Mammoth. The person to pierce the heart of the beast would be the one to hold the White Spear and be the one to lead the people of the Yagahl. The is the setting that we have for the start of the film that most critics hated and most audiences adored. Personally, and I know that is wrong for a reviewer, I could care less what other critics say about the facts of the film. It was fun to watch and it is always going to have a special place for me since it was the last film that I got to watch while my father was still alive and he absolutely loved the film.

The Last Airbender (2010)

The Last Airbender by director M. Night Shyamalan is a wild fantastical ride through spectacular landscapes and dazzling effects. It is by all definitions eye candy with a story and it doesn’t just stop at that as it give the viewer so much more. This film is by far the best one that Shyamalan has done and I hope he never goes back to dramatic horror and continues to make fun family films like this one. He has done the anime proud and listened to his own children while making this film. Children know what they see in the anime and want to see it bigger then life. They want it as real as can be and this film gives them that. Better yet is that the adults can enjoy the film as well as they can see into the deeper parts of the film and not have to explain every little detail to the kids watching with them. No matter what your age you will be able to watch this one over and over and find it hard put to get tired of it.
