Army Men: Sarge’s War is part of the Sarge’s Heroes series and this one is after RTS. I got this game for the GameCube but, I wish I had it for the PlayStation 2. This game begins in Green Town. Sarge and his heroes are stopping the tan army attacking the green army. If General Plastro makes peace to the greens then the war will be over, but it didn’t turn out right. There was another tan leader out and his name is Lord Malice. Lord Malice is planning to destroy the green army at the Peace Statue when General Grimm and General Plastro were going to sign the peace agreement. Things didn’t turn out right. Lord Malice planted a bomb at the peace statue. Sarge was trying to stop that bomb, but he was too late. His friend, General Grimm, heroes, and girlfriend, Vikki, died. Now, he is really angry, and he is going get his revenge on Lord Malice. Could he stop Lord Malice? Find out when you play this game.

This game is a true classic and has been around in one form or another since 1987 when it was made for the Commodore 64 by MicroProse. The game has come along way since then and has been updated with 3D graphics and smoother game play. Much of the game is the same as it was in its initial release but now has a mini dance game and better turn based land battles. In all this is one of the best versions of the game so far with ports of it and the old one going to smart phones and pads. How far Sid Meier, Firaxis and 2k Games takes this title is still to be seen but I doubt that they will let such a popular title like this die and fade away. I am sure it will go to see “One more time”, if not more, if you forgive the pun.
