I really like casual games, been playing simple games like chess, backgammon, and even senet all my life, so all these great casual game sites are a goddess-send for me, but once in awhile, there is a rotten apple in the barrel, and Stand O’Food is one of them. This is one of the most frustrating little puzzle games I have come across. The kind that make you keep starting a level over and over again until you think you might have it right, and once you are lucky enough to get an upgrade into your little store, it is pretty much useless. I was glad I only got an hour trial on this game, because I don’t think I could have played it for much longer than that. So, Big Fish and Alawar games lost a sale on me there. There was a small tie-in with Supermarketmania, a game series I had reviewed here before, hence me giving Stand O’Food a try, since they were linked, and I did try Stand O’Food 2, as if this stinker needed a sequel, but more about that in a later review. If you love casual games, you know there are thousands out there, so don’t waste your time with this one.
If you are really curious about Stand O’Food give it a try, but if you just want a good burger, I’m sure McDonalds won’t be nearly as frustrating to get through.
