What is it now days with all the lawsuits? Is it the only way that anyone makes money these days? I know that lawsuits are a necessary evil, but come on. I just got a blind spam mailing asking me to join in a egg lawsuit and I am not anywhere where those tainted eggs even shown up! I know lawyers have to make money but get real guys, it is not by sending out SPAM!!!!
People that do all the unsolicited spam emails need to get a clue. We don’t want that BS in our in boxes. Some of us ACTUALLY download our mail and don’t just read them online with a browser. Its just not easy to manage email like that no matter how good they make the browser. This is especially true for people with slow connects.
So all you ambulance chasing dirt bags of lawyers, keep your filthy spam out of my mail box and maybe I wont have to find a better lawyer to keep you out of it. Read more...(218 words, estimated 52 secs reading time)
Everyone loves a good story, one that will keep you interested and wanting more and more as you go along. Fruits Basket or Furutsu Basuketto or just Furuba in Japan is such a story. The life stories taught in this show are amazing as well as what is in the manga. Even though the animated series didn’t cover the entire manga it still ends well and really does make you feel all warm inside when the last episode ends. Almost all of the episodes do stand on their own so watching them out of order is not going to get someone too confused but you really do want to watch them from the very beginning. Once you do watch them then get a hold of the manga so you can see how the whole story ends. Read more...(1152 words, 1 image, estimated 4:36 mins reading time)
I really don’t get it. I really don’t. The United States is supposed to be about the people and for the people but instead lately it is all about corporate greed and how much a politician can make and how much they can control the lives of people. That is just down right wrong and I wish I had the money to be able to get in the arena with them and try and make some difference. The problem is that if a person is flush with money they really don’t see and sometimes don’t even care about what is happening around them. The only way I see things really changing is if the entire house and senate were emptied and then everyone wanting to run was forced to use public funds and not one cent of anything donated directly to the person running or the party that they belong to. The playing field needs leveled again if this country is going to get straightened out. Read more...(1065 words, 1 image, estimated 4:16 mins reading time)
CSE HTML Validator is the only validator that I personally use. I have been using it since 1997 when it was first released. Back then it was one of the very few complient validators for HTML standards and it would catch just about any error that you might put in your code. It even integrates with HomeSite (if you all still use that one), Dreamweaver, TopStyle and can even be used as a CSS/HTML editor all on its own. I find it even better then any validations done by the standards authority for CSS and HTML. Read more...(510 words, 1 image, estimated 2:02 mins reading time)
When you are reading labels, if you are doing your best to avoid HFCS, you might see other labels in their place. Dextrose is a common sugar that often pops up, and even though its definition is “dextrorotary glucose”, meaning “Sugar rotated to the right” there is more to it than what it shows. Dextrose is another altered corn sugar that should be avoided along with HFCS, and is another stop along the Maize Maze when it comes to sweeteners. According to Livestrong.com, dextrose is known to cause fluid imbalance, which often leads to edema, or as you have heard it called “swelling of the legs”. It is a symptom common among older people, but with more and more dextrose consumption being taken in by young people and children, edema is no longer an old person’s symptom.
