Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots. This one is set in New York City and this one have two different parts. The first is the tanker and the second part is the big shell. Tanker is about Snake trying to take the photos of the new metal gear but, thing didn’t turn out right. Russian’s soldiers were high-jacking the tanker. They are looking for new metal gear. Snake need those take those photos before Russian soldiers steal it. The second part is about the terrorists kidnapping the President of the United States of America and some of the hostages. This part you are not playing as Snake in this part. You are playing as Raiden.
It is up to Raiden to rescue the President of the United States of America and the hostages before the Big Shell gets destroyed. The graphics in this game are pretty good for a old PlayStation 2 game. This game is been around for 12 years and the PlayStation 2 is been around for 13 years. This game dose not look like Nintendo 64 game. When PlayStation 2 first came out, some of the games look like Nintendo 64 graphics. The graphics in this game look like Final Fantasy X graphics. This game did came out the same time when Final Fantasy X came out. I love what they did to metal gear. Metal Gear looks better than before. The gameplay runs like Final Fantasy X as well. It doesn’t make you stop and get ready for battle. The camera go different directions. The camera dose not have problem. The problem in this game is too short. I played this game about 7 hours straight and sad moments. In this game, Otacon’s sister will die. I never cry in videogames, but this one will make you cry when Otacon’s sister dies later on in the game. The sound is pretty as well. The person who did the sound is known as Harry Gregson-Williams. I know he did sound composition for many movies and I know he did some video games for sounds as well. It is a pretty good game to play. If you played the others you will like this one, as well. Now, go play Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty!
