Congrats! You’ve been hired to work at a magical academy as a… pastry chef! This is a fun time management game where the customers in your little bake shop are not ordinary. There are, of course, wizened wizards and wise witches. There are also a demanding ghostly noble, a well-mannered wolf that give us white roses (Do I sense a little classic rock influence there?), an elf maiden, and students. With the help of a sweet baby dragon you can train to help you in keeping these people satisfied for sweet pastries and drinks, you can really keep them happy. The outside castle graphics aren’t much to look at, but the interior looks very clean, and the work done on the magical customers was great. They even have voices that suit them perfectly. I really had fun with this game, and even if I did not the cash needed for a demanding shop upgrade, and had to replay a level, I really didn’t mind. The only real problem with this game is that it made me want to go get some doughnuts, or at least try to make some, which I did neither of. The only thing I did not seem to see was a barista, but they might be saving that for a sequel.
Try not to get hungry when you play Magic Sweets, and you will do just fine.
