A Kingdom for Keflings is a quirky little game that is a bit of Sim Town and Sims all rolled up into one. You play a giant or giantess that is building a town and kingdom for the Keflings that are at least one tenth the size of your character. Warning, this game can be addictive and there is also an Xbox LIVE Arcade version as well for all of you Xbox fans out there. You are able to save your progress along the way and ultimately build a full castle for your little Keflings. You first start the game by choosing who your character is going to be. At first you really don’t know what you are going to be doing so definitely play through the tutorial before you jump right into the game or you will find that you will be totally lost. Once you have chosen who your giant to giantess is going to be you are taken to a green field with just one building. Around the building are trees and boulders, these are going to be used in the construction of your town. You will also have 4 Keflings to manage as well. As you build your town you can configure the buildings in many different ways and even discover ways to change the color of the buildings buy building a dye shop. As you progress through the game you will have access to trees, statures and more to beautify your village, town and kingdom. Here is an except from the games website:

Some parts of this game are cute as can be while others can be rather disturbing. When you pick up a Kefling they will scream and yell as if you are trying to kill them. Another disturbing spot is that when you want to change what their job is you have to literally rip the hat off the top of their head. It looks like you are taking the head right off the Kefling instead of just his hat. Like I said, disturbing but humorous at the same time. You are also able to kick your Kefling as well to get them out of a workshop that you assign them to.
The graphics in this game are bouncy and very animated similar to some of the graphic styles that were seen in Sim Theme Park and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. With graphics made like those this game will appeal to younger kids as well as bored adults. This game will give you hours of entertainment and one that you can always come back to when your bored. NinjaBee has made a good solid game and it can even be played multiplayer as well.
