Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is made by the same people who created Crash Bandicoot and Uncharted. This game is on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. I got the PlayStation 2 version. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita is part of the Jak and Daxter Collection. This game about a young man Jak and his fury friend Daxter. Jak looks like a Elf. The people in this game look like Elves because they got long pointed ears. Daxter used to be an Elf, but he fell in the bath of dark ego. Those two help villagers, finding Precursor artifacts, and finding power cells, but those two have to fight some bad guys.
The bad guys are the lurkers. The lurkers look like monkeys. Their leaders are Gol and Maia. These two like to unleash the dark ego all over the world. If you get the PlayStation 2 version, you will get a map inside the box. The map will show the location to where the levels you are playing are. This is the world map. This game is similar to Spyro The Dragon. After you beat the game, you get to do what you want. You can explore the whole world again. If you get 100% in this game, you will see a door that it full of light. That will lead to the second game of the series.
The graphics in this are pretty good. It looks like Crash Bandicoot 1 but with the PlayStation 2 graphics. I like Jak and Daxter graphics way better Crash Bandicoot graphics. Crash Bandicoot graphics are OK, but Jak and Daxter have more detail. The gameplay is pretty good. I like the gameplay better than Crash Bandicoot. You can go level without have to wait for a loading screen. In Crash Bandicoot, you have to wait for a loading screen. In Jak and Daxter, you just walk through the level without waiting. Waiting does kind get boring, but this one you just have fun. You can swim out to the sea, but a lurker shark will eat you alive. This doesn’t have lives in this one. Crash Bandicoot did, but not this one. Whenever you died, you start back in the beginning of the level. You don’t start the level all over. You just keep on until you finish the level. This Jak and Daxter game is one the best one of the series. The others are pretty good, but this is more fun than the others. This is for kids. I played this game when I was 8. If you never tried the first Jak and Daxter game, this is where to start. You will play this one much more than the other Jak and Daxter games.
