Elephant Games seems to be flooding the casual games sites with more and more of these Hidden Object Mysteries, and this time, those devs from Eastern Europe are taking on a trip to what might be the Black Forest and spinning us about in a tale dealing with…. werewolves! Grim Tales: The Legacy Collector’s Edition takes a trendy subject and gives it an interactive and classic spin. We start off as a woman heading to her sister’s son’s christening, and of course, our car skids and crashes on a stormy road, where have we seen this before? On the upside, we crashed right outside of our sister’s… castle?

It looks like no one is home, so we have to hunting down objects to get us around, and find ways to unlock doors and and cabinets. I do have to admit that the hidden object puzzles were very clear, and things were pretty easy to find, but some of the logic puzzles were more perplexing than I was accustomed to. Still, it is a fun game, and you might find allies in places you least likely expect, but what is with that cute little wolf cub in the nursery? Some mysteries really need to be solved, and the genetics of your extended family has just become one of them.

So much supernatural stuff is going on here, it is a good thing this is merely a game, or we might have to call on the TAPS team, but I don’t think Grim Tales: The Legacy will ever make it Ghost Hunters International.
