Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is little bit harder than the first game. This game is about when Dr. Cortex found glowing crystals. Now, Dr. Cortex is trying to find someone to get the crystals for him. He was thinking Crash can do the job him. Dr. Cortex was lying to Crash. Crash goes looking for the crystals. Dr. Cortex wants to use those crystals for his weapon. Crash’s sister Coco trying to warn Crash to stop listening to Dr. Cortex. Could Crash stop listening or do more work for Dr. Cortex? Find out when you are playing this game!
The gameplay is a little different from the first game. This runs a little bit smoother than the first. The controls are a little bit different now, too. You still have your move from the first, but you got some new move in this game. Crash’s new moves are belly flop, and crouch. To use the belly flop, you must press the X bottom to jump than you press R1 to do the belly flop. To crouch, you just press the R1 bottom. The one with the controls are you can’t use the stick in this game. You still have to use the D-pads. I hate using the D-pads, but I have a choice. I have played games with the D-pads before, but I use the D-pads for racing and fighting games. The graphics are now little bit better, but it is still the same graphics form the first game.
Crash looks better now than before, but in the rest of the game, they are still the same as before. Nothing really changes at all, except the characters, that’s it. This game is alright but there are problems with it. When I break the boxes, I don’t get the gem. At the end of the level, there is a big box that shows you how many boxes you have to break. That thing tells me I have to find the other boxes. I got all the boxes and it tells me I have to find more boxes. I was getting tired of it. So went ahead and said the hell with it. So I went and rushed through the game. If you are Crash Bandicoot fan you will like this. This game is a little better than the first one.
