Beyond Two Souls is one those game where you have to think, not go in guns blazing. This game has a great graphics, good story, and pretty good gameplay. This game is about this girl name Jodie, that has a spiritual friend, Aiden. This spiritual friend helps her, protects her, takes form in a personal body, and also unlocks doors. This game is like watching movie while playing the game. I don’t know why this game has bad scores, it a good game. IMDB gave it 8.8 and for me, I would this one a 8 as well. Hell, even if Angry Joe plays this game, he would do the same thing. Read more...(484 words, 31 images, estimated 1:56 mins reading time)
Air Combat is a old PSone game and one of the launch titles for the PSOne. The game looks really bad, but old is old. In the 90’s, 3D was getting started. These days, gaming looks more realistic. This game a good to play, but it looks like graphics didn’t age that well.
This game is also the first Ace Combat game from the series. The story about this game is that a terrorist force starts an uprising and it your job to destroy these terrorists. The graphics almost looks like a SNES game, but the planes don’t look 2D. The landscape looks like SNES graphics, but there are 3D graphics in that landscape. The gameplay is one thing I like about this game. The gameplay does feel like you are a fighter pilot. The first person view in this game is better to play in. The third person view is not all that good. The other AC series they are good to play in third person view, but this is not. The third person view doesn’t have a map, and doe not keep track of the damage of your plane. Nor does it show the number of missiles you have left. it is also hard to use the machine gun in that view. Read more...(300 words, 31 images, estimated 1:12 mins reading time)
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 is like going on vacation at home. I know Sims 2: Bon Voyage is like that, but this game has pretty sexy girls. This is DOA version of Mario Party. You have jet-skiing, pool hopping, beach flags, butt battle, tug of war, water sliding, volleyball and stuff you play at a casino, like poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. I’m good at poker and blackjack because I’m from the South. We played card games alot. And one more mini game I’m good at is jet-skiing. 007: Agent Under Fire is a good game for the PS2. This game is the first Bond game for PS2 and this game uses the Quake III engine. There 3 problems with this game. #1 is Bond himself, #2 is the controls, and #3 is the fact of the sound of the game.
The first problem was Bond isn’t like the other ones from the movies. This one looks like he came out of one the Superman and he doesn’t sound like Bond himself. When you play the game, he looks Superman without his powers. I don’t know this voice actor, but he does did a okay job for Bond. Problem #2 is the controls run like the Bond game from the N64. I don’t know why EA had to put old controls on this game. For N64 yes, but for PS2, no. You can change the controls in this game. I had found the controls that look like those from Halo. So, I used it instead, and it helped. Now for problem #3. Problem #3 is the fact if you do something cool, you get to hear the theme song over and over again. It was really annoying. I didn’t turn it off, but you deal with it. Read more...(559 words, 31 images, estimated 2:14 mins reading time)
When I first saw this seafaring adventure game based on Classical Greek lore, I thought it would be cool to give it a try. You chose from different heroes, and build up a fleet of ships, buying and selling goods in the agoras at different ports in the Aegean Sea, and even do a little piracy. You buy and sell ships, like triremes and other battle and cargo ships from the time. There are also quests, but after a time, it was hard to find out where the quests were supposed to be.
