Duke Nukem: Time to Kill is one of the PSone classics. This game does nothing about Duke Nukem 3D. This game is about going through time and kicking some alien butt. The aliens are pretty much messing with humans’ historical timeline. It is sup to Duke stop the alien from letting it happen.
The graphics in this game are not like those in Duke Nukem 3D. Everything is in 3D, no more 2D monsters, items, ammo, keys, and weapons. The graphics in this game more look like Quake 1, than Tomb Raider. So I’m thinking this game use the Quake engine. The gameplay runs similar to Tomb Raider games. The original Tomb Raider not the 2013 reboot. I had hard time getting used to, but the controls are little bit easier than the TR series. The combat system is normal for old third-person shooter. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is easier than the Tomb Raider games from the PSone games. This game is better than the movie. The movie wasn’t that great, but not bad either. This game is about a prince has magic dagger that is the key to unlock the sands of time. The sands of time did change some people into a sand demons. This game has easy controls, rewind time to fix your mistakes, and pretty good combat system. I like the controls much better than TR games on the PSone. The original TR game had painful control and you to stress. In this game, you can say goodbye to that. This game will a little bit, but not as bad. In this game, you can rewind time. If you fall off the cliff or make a wrong turn. you don’t have to start all over. You only have the number of times you can rewind, but use them wisely. The combat system does remind me of the Assassin’s Creed games, but this game came out before Assassin’s Creed did, and it is the same developers. Moto Racer is a pretty fun game to play. This game is like Ridge Racer, but with bikes. This game has no story at all. This game is like a arcade game. You choose a race track you want to race in, choose a bike that you like, and race, that’s it. There also the change mode, but also the same thing as single mode. There is also the multiplayer, but it doesn’t work, because this game is old. It would cool if it did work. Read more...(247 words, 31 images, estimated 59 secs reading time)
Air Combat is a old PSone game and one of the launch titles for the PSOne. The game looks really bad, but old is old. In the 90’s, 3D was getting started. These days, gaming looks more realistic. This game a good to play, but it looks like graphics didn’t age that well.
This game is also the first Ace Combat game from the series. The story about this game is that a terrorist force starts an uprising and it your job to destroy these terrorists. The graphics almost looks like a SNES game, but the planes don’t look 2D. The landscape looks like SNES graphics, but there are 3D graphics in that landscape. The gameplay is one thing I like about this game. The gameplay does feel like you are a fighter pilot. The first person view in this game is better to play in. The third person view is not all that good. The other AC series they are good to play in third person view, but this is not. The third person view doesn’t have a map, and doe not keep track of the damage of your plane. Nor does it show the number of missiles you have left. it is also hard to use the machine gun in that view. Read more...(300 words, 31 images, estimated 1:12 mins reading time)
