Unreal Tournament 2004 is the most fun action arena game that I had ever played. The game is better than the Quake III Arena. In Summer, I was playing Quake III Arena alot. I want to play online but, couldn’t because Quake III had Gamespy and Gamespy is not around any more. So I started playing this game and modding it as well. This game is like Quake III, but even better. There are more things you can do, like assault, bombing, capture the flag, death match and even more.
I did play online as well and it actually fun, but it’s really hard and you have to wait the game to load. This game use the Unreal Engine 2.5. This Engine use the same on Unreal Champion 2 as well, which was on XBOX. The graphics in this game look amazing. It almost looks like a Halo 2. It has more details and more texture. I thought it was going to look like a PS2 game, but Epic Games tries to make to games look good and they did. Read more...(459 words, 31 images, estimated 1:50 mins reading time)
I was fortunate to participate in the Welcome Back Weekend for Elder Scrolls Online. I was invited to download the game and play because I had been in the beta test in 2013. The reason I didn’t stay are no longer relevant anymore. I am glad they gave me a chance to look at the game in a new light. A lot has changed since beta and from what I can see it was for the better that those changes were made. So many changes that I can’t wait to play again, even with me having to use the WASD keys, yuck! Read more...(1452 words, 48 images, estimated 5:48 mins reading time)
Even though I had a great time with the event there were a few hiccups along the way. The download was over 35 gigabytes and on a high speed instead of broadband connection it took me about 3 nights of downloading to get it all. So I was all set when the event started except when I tried to log in they have a computer verification system.
The online version of the popular 2d/3d isometric castle games imagined by Firefly Studios. It is a turn based and yet a RTS at the same time. It is one of the better castle defense and attack games that is out there with both free and paid memberships to keep you building castles until the wee hours of the night or morning.
This game is truly addictive as you start from nothing more than a Village Idiot to that of a king of an entire region. You start your Stronghold life with nothing more than a small keep which you then have to manage. You have to see to the needs of your subjects but also the safety of them as well. You do this by placing buildings in your village that will help to maintain it as well as provide resources to both build with and trade with. As you build up your resources you are able to build your castle which defends your village. Much time is going to be spent building and maintaining that thing, so make sure you always have resources on hand, especially have a bandit or player attack. Update 15 of LOTRO not only opens up more of Gondor than what was previous available through The Paths of the Dead, but also sees the introduction of a new class, the Beorning. The Beorning is based on Beorn and his kin that was seen in The Hobbit after the dwarves and Bilbo escaped the goblins and their warg allies. Along with the new class there are 3 new regions to explore as well as a new Epic Battle, Retaking Pelagir. The actual NeverWinter Nights 1 game modual can be downloaded from the following link Ithaca_NWN1. My wife and I spent 35 hours on the creation of the mod and then about an hour setting up for the video. If you down load the mod, it was made with NWN not NWN2 with all expansions as well as CEP 2.4 available at the The NeverWinter Vault
Here is the poem that was used in creating the various different game areas.
As you set out on the way to Ithaca
hope that the road is a long one,
filled with adventures, filled with understanding.
The Laestrygonians and the Cyclopes,
Poseidon in his anger: do not fear them,
you’ll never come across them on your way
as long as your mind stays aloft, and a choice
emotion touches your spirit and your body.
The Laestrygonians and the Cyclopes,
savage Poseidon; you’ll not encounter them
unless you carry them within your soul,
unless your soul sets them up before you. Read more...(407 words, estimated 1:38 mins reading time)
