This is how you fix congress (Pass it along)

Image from Warren Buffett interview with CNBCThat was the title of the e-mail that I received. Normally I would have just sent it off to the waste bin but this time I actually read it since it was from a family member. It is one of those pass it along e-mails, you know the kind that tell you to pass it on to get something more in your life. This time it is to get something more for our nation the United States Of America. Since I don’t send out those types of e-mails I am going to sen\d it all out to you right here so that more then just the 20 people can read it. If you yourself want to pass it on that is fine but it is a message worth passing along.

By the way I did check out about if Warren actually said the words and her did. Click here to see the whole unedited video with Warren Buffett

Occupy Wall Street And Other Thoughts

What is happening now in New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Tokyo and the rest of the world is long overdue. Too long have the ultra elite and the ultra rich held their collective thumb on the people of this world. It is because of that attitude that we had the first American Revolution and frankly I am quite surprised that nothing like this hasn’t happened yet till now. It is something that has to be stopped and I don’t mean people making money or getting rich. If a person wants to be able to better themselves they need to be given the opportunity and not just told they can’t do it. Every time a person is turned down for a job they are not loosing a job, they are loosing the ability to have a life. If they can’t work then they can’t spend and I don’t know about the rest of the world but that usually means starving to death or suicide because of massive depression. If you look at it that way who is really killing who?

Sniglet of the Day : October 5

Sniglet Of The DayDumbification – n. the act of using media to turn ordinary people into mindless, right-wing drones and must have it all no matter how stupid it is consumers.

There is a process going on lately, from communication centers of North America. From New York to Washington to Atlanta to L.A. Even Vancouver and Toronto have gotten into the act, as have Boston and…. well just about anywhere a team of scriptwriters or API news tickers can have access to a national feed to feed us either stuff we would not really care about, or a vat of poisonous opinions that have nothing to do with fact, fed to us by the Tea Party and its media vehicle, Fox News, to take us back to the 1950s no, make that, 1830s. I’m not sure if that is where they are wanting to take us, because there was no T.V. in the 1830s, but there were lots of things back then they loved. Slavery, sexism, racism, and way too much national pride. Maybe they are getting close to what they want. Rich white males are still ruling over everything.

So Where Does It Go From Here?

At around 6 P.M., on September 8, 2011, a very prepared Barack Obama came to Capitol Hill armed with a speech that might just be the jolt to give new life to the dying battery that has been sustaining this vehicle called the American Economy with the American Jobs Act. When I was a kid, whenever “Special Reports” came on every network station, and that was when you got just the three and possibly PBS on a UHF channel, I tended to dart outside to play dodgeball, or go to my room to play Pong or read a book. Yeah, you read that right, “Pong”. OW! I think I just got stamped with an expiration date.

Congress Cat?

It’s just dawned on me!!

My cat sleeps about 20 hours a day.

She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants.

Her meals are provided at no cost to her.

She visits the doctor once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing and nothing is required of her.

She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep.

If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.

She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep.

She receives these accommodations absolutely free.

She is living like a Queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.

All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.
