Even though that is what it says on the outside window, this gallery is small, but far more than simply a place to get tattoos. A little bit of the finer arts is getting even more of a push here in Chipley. When you come into the spacious front room, it is painted a dark maroon, with a floor made of paper bags and flattened to a sheen with lots and lots of varnish. On the right side of the wall, there are a few electric guitars, sort of an office, a antique piano, and some merchandising. Look to your left, and you will see many different paintings from local artists, from the mundane to the macabre, from cute beach scenes to fantasy forests and more. Every other month, the owner of the place, an artist known simply as “Q-Ball” hold gallery viewings with all the trimmings, and he is always looking for more material to show. If you are a visual artist in the Central Florida Panhandle, then bring your paintings to Inkfliction. Your paintings will be in good company, and Q-Ball will price them well. The next showing is on May 26, 2013. If you are coming to the Emerald Coast for a Memorial Day getaway, drive on down FL-Hwy 77, and join us there.
