We start in some time during the time of the Pharoahs, when Emat-rat-su (Kim Catrall) of Emmy for short is disappointed with the life choices her parents are setting her up with. They have come to a last resort in finding her a husband, and she is about to be matched to a camel dung dealer. Emmy makes a prayer to her gods to find her a way out, and she disappears right before her mother’s eyes and we are in a cartoon history of Emmy’s adventures through the ages as she looks for her destiny, in the guise of the cat goddess, Bastet. We have seen some movies about characters from parallel worlds coming to our own before, but this the first one to use the classic animated fairytale world. Sure there was The Purple Rose of Cairo, back in the 80s which featured an adventurer from a 1930s movie serial, and a similar mini-series, The Tenth Kingdom, brought characters from a fairytale land to New York, as what has happened in Enchanted. Even Tin Man brought people over from Oz to collect the story’s main protagonist. Those two stories were far more serious and a bit more mature than this one. This Sailor Moon movie is kind of like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory went haywire. I guest the children kidnappers just kicked him out of his factory. The children kidnappers want a to make a black hole to suck up planet Earth. So, I guess though they stole the Russian’s technology from the cold war, as well. The children kidnappers want to kidnap the children all the around the world so they can make their dream black hole. The leader of children kidnappers is Queen Badiane.
Queen Badiane wants to make children have a happier dreams instead letting the children have a good life. She wants to make the children go to sleep forever, so she can make her black hole. She is like Queen Beryl from the first season of Sailor Moon. She’s got that angry vampire look on her face and she is very tall. The four of her children kidnappers are Perle, Poupelin, Banane, and Orangeat. Perle is one of good guys. He didn’t want to kidnap the children. He will meet Rini later on in the movie. Rini will get kidnapped by Queen Badiance later on in the movie. He want the children to have good happy life. The other three, they take orders form Queen Badiane. Sailor Moon S is kind of like Kingdom Hearts. Instead of the Heartless in this anime, they are called Death Busters. The Death Busters are stealing pure hearts from people. Raye had a dream that the is coming the end or the world is near. There are three new sailor soldiers in this anime. The five new sailor soldiers are Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto, Sailor Mini Moon, and Sailor Saturn. Sailor Mini Moon is Rini. Rini is now a sailor soldier, but in training. She came back form the future for sailor soldier training. Serena is not too happy about it. She have stick with her for a while. Rini is a little brat. She wants everything done her way. She wants to spent more time with Darien, and he feels so sorry that he got stuck with them when they are fighting. Those two act like sisters, but they don’t act like sisters.
