Fun Factor:★★★★★

Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies is fun game for the PS2. This game will make you dizzy, if you play for a long time. This game is like a Japanese version of a Tom Clancy novel. This game is set in the fictional world of Strangereal, and spans the years 2004-2005, and this person talks about his story of when he was kid. So, this game is mostly about his story.

This is the first Ace Combat game that I played in the series. There are anime cutscenes in this and they look really good on a computer screen. I wish it ran like a anime show instead stopping it. The graphics do look similar to Ridge Racer V, but I think this game used the same design from Ridge Racer V. They almost look the same and they both look more detailed. It is Namco game, so it probably is.

The gameplay does seem a little challenging at first, because never played air flight games before, except Star Fox 64 and Star Fox 64 is different from this game. As I played this game more, the gameplay got easier. There is no AI issue at all and the game has no bugs at all unless you have a messed up disc. The soundtrack almost sounded like Ridge Racer V music. I guest the person who did the for Ridge Racer V music probably did this one as well. Namco did great back than until they sold there soul to Bandai. They are called Bandai Namco Entertainment. I wish they should split up because Bandai is destroying Namco’s games. Ace Combat 4 is good a game, but it is short. You will beat this game about pretty much at 5-6 hour straight. This game took longer because I had to get used to the controls and I’ve been working. If you are looking for game that has action and for the kids, Ace Combat 4 is game you should get.
